Useful information

Our showroom is open Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We also are open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Clients are welcome to stop by our showroom at any time to look at our slabs. Clients need only make an appointment if the stone choice has been finalized and require STE to move slabs in order to choose the exact slabs for the project.

Before a client visits Stone and Tile Expo:

  • Do some research, visit our website and browse through our online inventory. A visit here will be more beneficial if the client arrives with some sort of an idea as to what color, design or pattern the client would like to see installed in their home.
  • Bring a sample of the other materials that will be used in the house, especially for those stones chosen in relation to another element in the home, such as: cabinets, floor tiles or even color samples of the walls. When all of the samples are placed side by side, we can get a better visual sense of the interaction of different colors, patterns and designs.
  • Clients should speak with their fabricator prior to visiting our showroom, so we can best be prepared for the client's time in the showroom. Even though an appointment is not necessary, it's always better for us to know in advance so that we can make arrangements for each client; especially if they need to move slabs.

Upon arrival at STE:

  • Upon arrival, clients will be asked to fill out a simple form, so that we can keep track of our clients and fabricators.
  • One of the client's design consultants will walk the party  through our showroom and assist the decision making process.
  • We can take pictures of the possible stones choices and e-mail them to the client in addition to providing samples to take home.
  • If the client like certain stones and want to reserve them until the decision is finalized, we can put them on hold. Once a stone is put on hold, the client has 10 days to have the fabricator purchase the chosen stone.

When a decision is reached

  • We will notify the fabricator of the client's choice.
  • When the fabricator places the order, we will deliver the stone to the fabricator so they can begin the cutting process.

***Please note that any questions regarding maintenance, care and pricing should be directed to the fabricator. We, as suppliers, are not allowed to give clients the price on slabs. We can inform clients if the stone in question   belongs to a high, medium, or low price level.

*** Clients may have seen samples that were provided to by the fabricator and the client may want to make a decision based on a sample, without coming to our showroom and viewing the stone slab in its entirety. We would urge clients not to do so and strongly recommend that each client take a look at the entire slab before making a decision. The patterns, designs and colors on a slab vary from inch to inch and the sample may not reflect the entire stone.
